For sale is an original sketchbook featuring 25 pages of pen and ink sketches. This little brown book was my constant companion for around two months in 2026, traveling in my bag everywhere I went each and every day. In that regard, it is both a collection of drawings as well as a document of my daily life, and I’m hoping its next owner will enjoy thumbing through its pages as much as I enjoyed drawing in them.

See the video below for a flip through the sketchbook!

The drawings within are a mix of candid sketches, quick demos, and more formal studies from photo references. Most of the subjects were my fellow subway passengers that I sketched during my commute to the art school where I teach. These were usually drawn very quickly, within 1-3 minutes, and despite their brevity I like to think they capture a pleasant little slice of San Francisco life. In addition to the many pages of pen sketches, the front and interior cover pages also feature gouache, ink, and watercolor paintings.

Please note that some pages, including the cover, may be slightly worn or dog eared from being carried and used on a daily basis.

5.5” x 8.25”, 25 pages of sketches plus front and interior painted cover pages; signed on the interior cover.
